Characteristics : This is a basic coated, iron powder type electrode yeilding a weld metal having 1.5% Mn and 0.7% Ni. High resistant to hot or cold cracking even under dynamic loading heavy impact and severe service. Ideally suited for welding of high tensile fine grained steel for heavy construction work subject to dynamic loading, pressure vessels and for welding steel for subzero temperature down to -60°C
Applications : This is especially designed for the welding of low alloy steel to withstand low temperature. For welding high tensile steel for heavy construction work, subject to dynamic loading.

Precautions :Use short arc during welding. Ensure that the electrodes are dry. In case of moisture pick-up, re-dry the electrodes at 300°C for 1 hour.
