SUPRAMAX – 11018 M
Classification : AWS : E11018M
Characteristics : This is a basic coated extra low hydrogen controlled electrode Ideally suited for welding of high strength of Q & T steel, like WEL TEN 80, SA 517 grades and their equivalent grades. Advantages: 1) A low spatter and good bead finish. 2) Welding of radiographic quality. 3) A stable and smooth arc which Is easy to strike and restrike.
Applications : The extra low hydrogen content of the welding deposit ensures complete freedom from hydrogen induced cracking. The electrodes are ideally suited for welding highly restrained joints in high strength steel under site conditions with high relative humidity since the weld metal helps in preventing hydrogen induced cracking.

| Creep Data : (1% offset/10000 hours) Creep Strength at 550°C: 7 Kg/mm2 |
Precautions : Ensure the electrode is dry. In case of moisture pick-up, re-dry the electrodes at 400°C for one hour & hold it at 50°C-60°C in other oven while in use. Restrict heat input to minimum.
